Yeah.. I’ve been away and I’m sorry…

April 19, 2014

acm2014

I’ve been horrible at the blogging and I’m so sorry. So much has been going on around me that the blogging has been set aside for some time. Currently I’m in the musical “Annie” and it take a lot of time. But it’s soon over and then it’s back to hopefully blog once a week on this Lady Antebellum blog. I’m just as a big fan as I’ve always been, I keep track on them on twitter and so on. I know Hillary had her birthday April 1st. I didn’t miss it, I congratulated her on twitter and on Instagram.
Lady Antebellum’s single Compass also reached a #1 and I’m so proud of them.

They looked stunning at the red carpet for The ACM Awards. They performed beautifully together with Stevie Nicks and with Darius Rucker. Sadly they didn’t win any award, but they won best performance in our hearts, because they rocked the stage!

They are still on tour and I’m so happy for all the LadyAers seeing them on tour in USA. I wish I was there, really wish I was. I also wish I was going to the CMAFest this year, ‘cos they are one of the headliners.

I can’t describe how proud I am of these three people and their entire band. Love them so much.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

January 3, 2013

DSC_0063

So, with all the wonderful Lady Antebellum memories most of us are leaving in 2012, some of us might have new memories and more memories in 2013. We have new music from Lady Antebellum coming up, well that is what Charles said. Hillary is having her baby and we are all excited over that (the true LadyAers are), more Webisode Wednesday’s, some of us got concerts to go to and for us who can’t get to a concert in 2013 are having a WHOLE year to save up to go to more concerts in 2014! So look at the bright side LadyAers, if we’re not able to attend to a Lady Antebellum concert this year, we might save up and go to two, even three or more in 2014. Always look at the bright side, which is what we need to do this new year. I know I can’t wait until Hillary and Chris has their baby, it’s so much fun having the first BabyBellum! Hillary is going to be such a wonderful mom and Chris a wonderful dad. And let’s face it, this kid is going to have the coolest uncles as well!

I really want to thank all you LadyAers on twitter which I got to know in 2012, I appriciate each and everyone of you and it’s nice to have someone to fangirl with when people around me doesn’t have a clue about Lady Antebellum or get tired of hearing about them. Thank you guys!

I want to thank Mia for all she does for us fans, she answer a billion questions I guess everyday and she is updating us on everything Lady Antebellum. Mia, you are amazing and we appreciate you!

Lady Antebellum for coming to Europe in 2012, I felt so lucky and I cried when I read that you were heading to Europe and I started my mission straight away to get tickets to either my own home country Norway, Denmark or Sweden. I was lucky and got tickets for Stockholm Sweden and I cried when I had ordered them. July 27 2012 will be a date I’ll never ever forget. I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be picked out for Meet & Greet, but I was so lucky I got one and my cousin and my friend got one and all three of us had a WONDERFUL time at the concert. AND meeting all of you was a dream come true, and thanks to Hillary who I met before the meet and greet, thanks for taking your time to talk to me, you are so wonderful. And sorry for totally staring at your husband, can’t help it! Sorry!

Jill, I don’t know where to start! I was just as excited to meet you as I was to meet Lady Antebellum. Thank you for all your inspiring tweets, words and all you do for us fans as well. Thank you for taking your time to talk to me after the concert! You are one of the most wonderful persons I’ve ever met. Thank you for being you! I really hope that you are a part of Lady Antebellum’s next tour as well! If not, we might just have to get that arranged:P

Alexis, one of the LadyAers who have become my best friend. Even though we live in different countries we’ve become such good friends and I appreciate your friendship. I love our Skype time, kik and twitter convos and so on. Thanks for being my friend! Hope we meet sometime and can go and freak out at a Lady Antebellum concert together. That would be so much fun!

Happy New Year all the LadyAers out there who is reading my blog. Hope we get a wonderful 2013, I’ve already decided on that this will be a good year.

Lady Antebellum Wraps Up European Tour..

August 6, 2012

I just read a tweet from the wonderful @LadyAUK and she linked THIS article. I noticed I’ve been qouted from the Webisode by them: And in Stockholm, one diehard fan declared that she’d “never seen a greater show,” noting, “I’ve been to Bruce Springsteen, and this was better.”

As I read, I also noticed Lady Antebellum Team Norway, this blog has been linked. I can just say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! So happy to get noticed as a Diehard Lady Antebellum fan!

Love Is The Heart Of The World…

August 2, 2012

Some fans are horrible to each other, some fans fight and some fans just role with their own little crew and ignore the others who are just as huge fans. Some fans declair themselves the biggest fans and don’t like others who are just as big fans calling themselves biggest fans.

Let me tell you something about the Lady Antebellum fans. On twitter, we are a whole bunch of fans, I mean Lady Antebellum got like 815911 followers on twitter and I have gotten to know many of them. I have sat and read tweets between fans, and there is SO much love going on between the fans. Fans happy for each other going to concerts, when someone meet them, when someone are lucky to be in a Webisode Wednesday and when someone just experience something fun in the spirit of Lady Antebellum, the fans are so exited for each other.
Some of the fans you always get closer to, and you get like your own little twitter circle and Instagram circle of friends you talk more to then the others, but always being including with other fans and caring for all is just what makes us Lady Antebellum fans so great. We are united and focusing on supporting who we love, Lady Antebellum and we’re not in it to fight over who is the biggest fans and who has met them the most and so on. We are all equal, even the ones who haven’t been lucky to experience them on stage yet are not excluded from concert convorsations.

I where at my first concert 27.07.2012, but being a part of the LadyAers on twitterville I altmost felt I had been to one, because the fans are so nice to share pictures, video clips and twitlongers so we all feel like we have been there. So being to a concert was huge for me. But even as amazing as being to the Lady Antebellum concert, was logging in to my e-mail finding out I had like over 200 mentions from fellow LadyAers on Twitter whising me the best time and so on. I felt the love to my bones and I live on that for a long time. And when everyone was asking how it was and everyone crossing their fingers for me to get a Meet and Greet before the concert, is really amazing. I’m so overwhelmed by the love and respect Lady Antebellum fans show each other, and the only reason is that Lady Antebellum sort of teach us to be nice to each other. Being them on stage and being so humble people and down to earth as they are, it shows reflection in their fans so we know how to treat one another.

I watched the Backstory of Lady Antebellum today for the first time, and it made me love these three people even more. And the people around in the whole Lady Antebellum crew. I’m so thankful to God for bringing these three people together and making the world of country music and music in general a lovely place to escape in. He did a great job connecting Hillary, Charles and Dave, he always have a plan, and this one is one of his best. Also their families to have raised such wonderful children. They are such good role models for us fans and I hope they stay as Lady Antebellum for years and years. I mean, look at Rolling Stones, that is how I see Lady Antebellum years from now. Hillary and Charles sharing a walker as they sing “Just A Kiss” and “Need You Now” as Dave shares his walker with Slim” in the guitar solos. Chris in his wheelchair banging the drums as crazy.

The team around Lady Antebellum, with Jill and Mia which is such amazing people as well. All the time they are tweeting with Lady Antebellum fans, and being wonderful. I hope they also stay in the Lady Antebellum family until they are old and grey and joining Lady A on stage with walkers. I know that over half, if not all of their fans will be at their concerts, even if might half of us are in wheelchairs with great grandchildren of ours holding up our arms and posters helping is cheer along.

I just need to say thanks again to the fans on twitter who welcomed a “loner” Lady Antebellum fan from Norway as a fellow LadyAer. I hope one day I can go to a concert with all of the wonderful LadyAers I’m tweeting with everyday altmost on twitter. I LOVE  you guys so much. And it’s so cool with friendship across boarders, and it’s so nice to have such wonderful people to fangirl with and share post-concert-depressions with. And Pre-concert-exitement.

Here is a list of some of the wonderful LadyAers on twitter, and If you don’t see your name here, I still love you, but so many names and twitter names I can’t remember them all in my head. So PLEASE tweet me and I will put your name here to. Because I love my LadyAerSiblingsFamily on twitter. @MissVeronicaS or @LadyANorway if you want to be on this list.

Owned The Night in Stockholm # 1

July 30, 2012

I think I will devide this in two parts, or it will be to long.

Wednesday my friend from Haugesund arrived at my doorstep, ready for sleepover at my house before we headed off to the airport Thursday. Being a nervous wreck I needed to calm my nerves down at the airport bus listening to Lady Antebellum. Traveling in style with a splitter, haha.

Yeap, always in need of Lady Antebellum

We arrived to the airport and me and the Duty Free is like a perfect combo. They do have so much fun things, there, I was thinking about buying Lady A one each of these:

But changed my mind when I felt how much they weight, they where really heavy. And I’m not sure if I would get like three of these HUGE Chupa Chaps with me on board, I mean you could beat a man to death with those. After a tour around in the Duty Free we needed to get some food, and then I screamed: HILLARY CHIPS!!! Off course I needed to buy it after seeing Hillary’s picture on Instagram, I also needed to take a picture. Not as beautiful as Hillary’s, but it’s Tyrrell’s chips, and I like it!

We also told my cousin at the airport that she had won a Meet & Greet with Lady Antebellum. We filmed her, I planned to post it, but I won’t ‘cos we talked in Norwegian. But she was surprised;) And it was so nice to surprise her with something like that. I managed to keep it a secret because she is under 18 so I bought her the membership in the fan club  on http://www.ladyantebellum.com and asked for a M&G there. She was also picked to M&G and I was so happy that we all who traveled (Sandra as well) got M&G. Me and Sandra thought it was so cool to see her face when she got the news. She didn’t dare to scream out in joy, because we where in the airport..haha.. but we knew she wanted to. She sort of screamed a little bit when she read the e-mail at the Hotel room though. But promised her to not post it on YouTube. Need to respect that.

After coming to Stockholm and walked in like the opposite direction of the Hotel for 20 minutes, we finally found the hotel and we had a real girls night. We listened to Own The Night, managed to break a bed, but we fixed it again. Girls DIY. Living the life as “rock stars” thanks to a shoe we managed to bang the nails in the bed again. Lucky us it didn’t totally break.

Going to bed Thursday night at the Hotel was not easy, I was so exited, and mixed with the serious pain in my entire body because of the Arthritis, it was a LONG night and not much sleep. Then Friday came. Woke up to a nice Hotel Breakfast and got back to the room and got dressed and ready for concert. First we had to find the store where we where suppose to pick up the Lady Antebellum ticket. First they had a little bit of computer trouble so we had to wait for like 10 minutes for it to restart the whole system to get the tickets out. I felt sick and altmost cried, because I was so afraid they might not get the tickets out.

I cried like a baby when I got these in my hand, finally!

Finally we got them, and the 20 minutes walk to Djurgården which where the location of Cirkus the venue/theathre where the concert where located. We went altmost straight there to really see where it was, so we wouldn’t be late to pick up our M&G passes. We found the venue and then we just walked around in Djurgården seeing some old characters from my Childhood at “Junibacken” and take a picture with Astrid Lindgren (The writer of Pippi Longstocking) statue. Watching the beautiful city of Stockholm in the sun.

Found the venue, and off course needed to take a picture with the poster

Astrid Lindgren and I.

Swedish Ice-Cream is like heaven!!

Stockholm from Djurgården

My cute adoreble little cousin and I waiting for Lady A in the sun. Enjoying the view of Stockholm.

After some hours in the sun we needed to go and eat something and we went for some chips before we decided to go back to the venue to wait for the ticket office to open so we could claim our M&G passes. We sat down on a bench with a Hotel, and after like 50 minutes I saw two people coming out from the open venue door hand in hand, I just sat on the bench and STARED and it just hit me: OMG it’s Hillary and Chris, but I got like paralized and sat there and stared. Then she saw us and my cousin waved at her and she waved back. All I managed to stutter was “Haaay”, according to Sandra I sounded like this, listen to Hillary at 00:15.

Lady Antebellum Tour Webisode 6: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Hillary said hi back and smiled and waved. I was so mad I didn’t manage to say anything or manage to get up from the bench, but starstruck as I was I just waved and smiled back and Chris also waved. When they where a little bit further down the street I lauged, and then I saw they turned their heads and Hillary waved a little bit again. I bet she was thinking: CRAZY fan Chris, keep walking! Haha. Aterwards we talked to a fan who had also seen them, and she didn’t talk to them either.

Finally the venue opened so we went to the ticket window to ask for the M&G passes. The lady there told us they didn’t get them yet, but she was to give us a shoutout when they came. So we just sat there and watched the people do the Merch-shop ready and drewling over the Lady Antebellum t-shirts. Then I just decided to stare out the window, and there, Chris and Hillary again! I grabbed the bag I had with the presents for Lady Antebellum and walked outside. This time I managed to say “Hi Hillary”. She said Hi back and I was like “Can I just give you something?” and she smiled and came up to us and was like “SURE!” I told her I did have a M&G, but I was afraid I didn’t get the change to give this to them and she was like “Ohh, presents” and she got them. I also gave her the edits me and Alexis has made and she laughed. Then she saw my t-shirt and she was like “Cool” and I turned to Chris and said “It’s for you by the way, this one” and I pointed to the t-shirt. He lauged as well. He was really nice, and wow he is even more handsome in real life. And Hillary is SO beautiful it shouldn’t be aloud. Then they had to go and Hillary was about to give me a hug, and I didn’t get the picture so I was wondering why she held me, and then my brain finally got its wheels turning and I gave her a BIG hug and she laughed again. Then she hugged my cousin as well. “See ya in a couple of hours girls in M&G” she said before her and Chris went in the backdoor for the venue. I was so airhead I didn’t ask for a picture with them, but again. So I was a little bit relieved that I still had my M&G photo to be taken.

I will write more after I’ve said goodbye to my cousin who is going home today. Stay tuned.

2 days, Pre-Concert-Nerves…

July 25, 2012

When that arrived in my e-mail I was over myself with joy! I cried, I laughed and I sort of died for like 30 minutes. I hyperventilated and I posted a really charming picture of myself on Instagram:

Yeah, I looked like that when I saw the e-mail. My cousin and Sandra who is coming with me also got M&G, but my cousin doesn’t know yet. I tell you the whole story of that when I get home from Sweden and Lady Antebellum concert. I just need to practice breathing and remember to speak English. Then I think I’ll be all good. Let’s hope I don’t faint in front of Hillary, Charles and Dave. That would be so typical me.
I have stared at the e-mail like for 2 hours straight every day since I got it. Checking it’s still there when it’s morning. I have had like 2 weeks with not really good sleep, nervous for the flight tomorrow, aching because of my arthritis and just exited for the concert. And exited that Lady Antebellum has been in the same timezone as me for sometime.

Today they are in Norway, tomorrow they are standing on stage in Seljord at the Country Festival there. I wish I was going there aswell, but when you have no car and no clue on how to drive a car, and no one who actually would like an 7-8 hour road trip to a Country Festival (most of my friends are not Country people, they are rock, pop and Beliebers..yeah I know) we decided that Sweden was our last hope of ever getting to a Lady Antebellum concert. And tomorrow: STOCKHOLM here we come, and Friday!! Watch out Lady Antebellum, the crazy Norwegian person on the picture over here is so ready to sing along. Note: If I don’t faint and die at the Meet & Greet. My signs are ready, my outfit is really ready (Hope Hillary doesn’t kill me for wearing this top:)

“My Boyfriend Is The Drummer” yes, I know he is married to Hillary, but Friday, Chris Tyrrell is my boyfriend:P haha

I will not post my signs yet, I’ll might post them on Friday right before the concert. So, tomorrow I’ll be leaving, and I promise: LADY A TEAM NORWAY will be updating from Sweden. And there might be a video-blog. Just hang in there.
